FAIR LAWN, N.J.—Marie A. McGlynn died Wednesday, Nov. 18.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., McGlynn was raised in Queens prior to settling in Fair Lawn many years ago. She was a parishioner of St. Catharine RC Church in Glen Rock and St. Anne RC Church in Fair Lawn.
An avid animal lover, she will be remembered for her generous heart toward her family and friends, whom she deeply loved. Prior to retiring, she was employed as an executive secretary with Colgate-Palmolive Company in New York City for many years.
She was the loving sister of Grace McKay and late husband James; cherished aunt of Keith, Susan, Danny and Peter McKay and the late Greg and James McKay; devoted great aunt of seven; and the beloved daughter of the late Peter and Susan McGlynn.
There will be a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne RC Church, 155 St. Anne St., Fair Lawn. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
Arrangements are being handled by Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home Inc.
